Alfred Scott was the principal keeper at Fang Rock in the 1820s. His brother was one of the original construction crew in 1790, but died. With nobody left to provide for his family, fourteen-year-old Alfred took his brother's place. He spent the rest of his life working at Fang Rock, rarely leaving, to watch out for the ghost of his brother. (PROSE: Beast of Fang Rock)
