Aleksander Petrovich Kuznetsov was a monk. He discussed the succession with Oksana Vladimirovna Kuznetsova. He didn't believe her story about the murder.[which?] He told the Ninth Doctor that he knew of Grishka. He thought that the Poles were invading, but the Doctor told him that this was a ruse as it was actually an alien invasion force. He later tried to get the populace to help him.
