Aldwych was a tube station located on a short line, depicted in blue, on a map of the London Underground network. It was the southern terminus of a short line directly to Holborn. Aldwych wasn't on the Circle line, but was located within its perimeter. (PROSE: "London Underground")

Behind the scenes[]
- The blue line which appears on the map in "London Underground" has yet to be named within the DWU. In the real world it is of course the Piccadilly line. The short disconnected branch of the Piccadilly line which served Aldwych was closed in 1994, along with Aldwych station itself. In modern years, Aldwych station has commonly been used as a filming location, including on TV series Sherlock.
