Albert Foster was a scientist who worked for PKD in 2000 as head scientist of the research department.
While out walking his dog Winston, he was the sole witness to the crash of a time-displaced Cyberon unit. Infecting him with small amounts of the Cyberon drug, the cyborg convinced Foster to hide it at PKD headquarters and convince the company to start producing more of the Cyberon drug and sell it as medicine, thus converting unwitting humans into more Cyberons. The small dose of Cyberon in Foster's body spurred him to obey the Cyberon's commands, gave him unusual strength for a man his age, and granted him access to memories of the Cyberon War, but it did not sap him of individuality or emotion.
