Alan Cox voiced John Matthews in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story The Roof of the World, Mark Seven in The Destroyers, Grenville and Diggery in The Auntie Matter, Death in Death and the Queen and Fanshawe in Who Killed Toby Kinsella?. He is the son of Brian Cox.
