Aesino was a composite being. There were billions of copies of her all trapped in the Anomaly Vault, wanting to be released. Romana II thought she could be used to remove Pandora for good. When one version was killed another would appear in her place, called from one second in the predecessors future. Aesino was destroyed in the process. (AUDIO: Fractures)
