Adam Smith directed the Doctor Who television stories The Eleventh Hour and The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone.

Career[]
After years directing music videos, Smith came to prominence when he directed four episodes of Skins in 2007. He followed up that experience with a sizeable chunk of episodes of the 2008 adaptation of Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit, co-starring Bill Paterson, Freema Agyeman, Eve Myles, and Arthur Darvill.
Since working on Who, he has primarily returned to the music industry, directing concert films and music videos.
