Commander A.H. Millington was the Royal Navy officer in charge of a military code-breaking facility near Maiden's Point, Northumberland.
Biography
Millington's office on base was designed to look exactly like the German naval cipher room in Berlin, complete with Nazi paraphernalia, so as to get into the Nazi mindset. Millington was shot and killed by Vershinin, who was saving Bates's life. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
