Millington's office on base was designed to look exactly like the German naval cypher room in Berlin, complete with Nazi paraphernalia to get into the Nazi mindset. Millington was completely obsessed with winning the war at any cost, as well as with the local Viking myths.

Millington was shot and killed by Vershinin after the mad officer accused Bates of being a traitor and prepared to murder him. (TV: The Curse of Fenric)
