On the planet New Earth the Sisters of Plenitude were leading the known Galaxies in medical research. Their advanced techniques were attracting some of the most influential and famous figures in the Galaxy, including the Face of Boe, the Duke of Manhattan and the Lady Cassandra O'Brien, the self proclaimed last human. However following the revelation that their hospital in the city of New New York played host to a large scale human experimentation facility, the order were arrested and the trials brought to an end. The humans who were being experimented upon were released from their chambers and taken into the custody of the New New York Police Department. According to the Doctor they would go on to form another sub-species of humanity. (TV: New Earth)
