June 1926

A calendar showing June 1926. (TV: Carnival of Monsters)

2 June was a date.

Events

In 1890, the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond stayed with Vincent van Gogh, to make sure he didn't come to harm from a monster seen in one of his paintings. (TV: Vincent and the Doctor)

On Sunday 2 June 1926, the cargo ship SS Bernice departed Bombay. (TV: Carnival of Monsters)

In 1953, the coronation of Elizabeth II took place. The Wire tried to use the transmission of this event to steal the faces of everybody watching the event on television but was stopped by the Tenth Doctor. (TV: The Idiot's Lantern, PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary)

All of the Doctor's first thirteen numbered incarnations were present in London on this day in 1953, including a later version of the Tenth Doctor; all had come to witness the aforementioned coronation. The presence of all these Doctors in one place caused a headache for Eva De Ville, a hired assassin who had been tasked with hunting down the Thirteenth Doctor. (COMIC: Where's the Doctor?)

In 1966, Edward Waterfield kidnapped the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon and took them back in time to Theodore Maxtible's house on 2 June 1866. (TV: The Evil of the Daleks)

Births and deaths

In 2005, Lucy Wilson was born. (PROSE: Lucy Wilson, The Midwife and the Alien)
