On 28 December 1879, which was a Sunday, the Tay Bridge in Scotland collapsed, and the train which was on it crashed, killing about a hundred people, including Wullie Cairns and Joe Logue, who were sent to the past by a Weeping Angel. (COMIC: The Weeping Angels of Mons)

In 1967, The Times reported that tourists again saw a circular symbol with an "R" in it, 200 feet in diameter, sketched in the snow above the St Anton ski resort. The symbol was also reportedly seen many times since its first appearance on the Great Pyramid of Giza: on the Lincoln Memorial, on a cliff in Dover, even on one of the stones of Stonehenge. On all these occasions, it was actually Jean-Pierre Rex's work, using his powers acquired from his use of Om-Tsor. (PROSE: Revolution Man)

In 2028, Margaret Cain — future member of the Bowie Base One crew — was born in Grenoside, Sheffield. (TV: The Waters of Mars)
