In 1587, a second group of English colonists arrived at Roanoke Island after the first group mysteriously disappeared, leaving only the word "Croatoan" carved into a tree; no bodies were ever found. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary)

In 1857, Lucy Addison was chastised by her local preacher in Los Angeles town for her godless ways. When a man named Silas Tanner attempted to rape her, she killed him by emitting blue energy from her hands and claimed to be "Ini-Ma". In Los Angeles in 1972, a young woman named Lori was able to extract deadly revenge against criminals who had killed a friend of hers. She was also called Ini-Ma by a shadowy figure who indicated that he would later collect on a debt which she now owed him. (PROSE: Instruments of Darkness)
