In 2116, the cruise ship Empress collided with the spacecraft Hecate as it was exiting hyperspace on-route to Azure, resulting in the two ships fusing together. Whilst fused, the Fourth Doctor and Romana II arrived and happened upon xenozoologist Tryst's CET machine and his and Dymond's operation involving vraxoin smuggling. (TV: Nightmare of Eden)
