Events

In 1562, twenty-five Huguenots were killed in Wassy, France. The resulting French religious wars culminated in the St Bartholomew's Day massacre on 24 August 1572. In 1941, the Seventh Doctor noted that changes were happening to the timeline of Nazi Germany. He, Benny, Chris and Roz Forrester attempted to set history on its correct course. Just before midnight that night, the aircraft Hugin blew up in St Jaonnet, Guernsey. (PROSE: Just War [+]Lance Parkin, Virgin New Adventures (Virgin Books, 1996).)

In 1981, the Fourth Doctor regenerated. He had thwarted the plans of the Tremas Master to use CVEs to control the universe. (TV: Logopolis [+]Christopher H. Bidmead, Doctor Who season 18 (BBC1, 1981).) Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan helped the newly-regenerated Fifth Doctor to his feet, but were chased by security officers, who briefly held them hostage. Whilst Adric distracted the guards, Tegan and Nyssa stole the ambulance to assist the Doctor back to the Doctor's TARDIS, before witnissing the Master's TARDIS materialise and knocking the security and paramedics unconscious. Unknowingly to Tegan and Nyssa, Adric was kidnapped by the Master and brought onboard a copy of him created from Block Transfer Computation by the Master. (TV: Castrovalva [+]Christopher H.
