On 19 May 1536, Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII of England, was executed shortly after meeting the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown on 4 May. (AUDIO: Recorded Time)

In 1884, Judoon Captain Kybo became stranded in a Victorian circus after being rescued by the Sixth Doctor from his exploding ship. There, he was bound in chains and forced to perform. The Sixth Doctor followed behind and met the same fate. Together with Eliza Jenkins, the three of them managed to delay a whole fleet of Judoon from taking Kybo back with them and revealed the truth behind Meretricious Gedge's plan to terraform a previously unbeknownst inhabited planet. (AUDIO: Judoon in Chains)

When, in 1998, the Galaxy IV communications satellite failed, it crippled the US pager networks, several broadcast news services, and even some credit card verification. Doctors, who relied on pagers for their work, were therefore forced to remain in hospitals at all times in order to be in contact. (PROSE: Millennium Shock)
