On 25 May, Joseph Serf was born in Dayton, Ohio. (TV: The Man Who Never Was)

On 4 July, UNIT bought the Tunguska Scroll from a private collector and placed it within the Black Archive. (TV: Enemy of the Bane)

On 22 July in Los Angeles, a young woman named Lori was able to extract deadly revenge against criminals who had killed a friend of hers. She was called Ini-Ma by a shadowy figure who indicated that he would later collect on a debt which she now owed him. (PROSE: Instruments of Darkness)

Some time before 24 December, Walter suffered a mental breakdown over the anniversary of the death of his mother Carmen. He imagined he was being attacked by comic book character Obadiah Grimm. On 24 December, the Twelfth Doctor, Jess, and Devina Collins broke into his house and helped him calm down. They then called an ambulance to take Walter to the hospital.

Ocean Waters had her memories erased by the Men in Black after she discovered the vault in St Jude's Hospital. (TV: The Vault of Secrets)

Nazi war criminal Oskar Steinmann died of spine cancer. (PROSE: Just War)

The Third Doctor with the Chief Sea Devil. (TV: The Sea Devils)

According to one account, (COMIC: Clara Oswald and the School of Death) the Master escaped from his prison on Fortress Island by hypnotising the staff and awakening a local colony of Sea Devils. Under the Master's influence the Sea Devils decided to go to war with humanity, providing a distraction while the Master escaped. The Third Doctor and Jo Grant stopped the Sea Devils, but didn't capture the Master. (TV: The Sea Devils)

The Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald encountered the Corvids in Highgate. (COMIC: The Highgate Horror)

Other timelines

The Eighth Doctor and Molly O'Sullivan are chased through London by Daleks. (AUDIO: Fugitives)

In an aborted timeline where Kotris allied with the Daleks, (AUDIO: X and the Daleks) the Eighth Doctor and Molly O'Sullivan visited 107 Baker Street and encountered the Ides Scientific Institute. Dr Sally Armstrong followed instructions given to her for when the Doctor arrived and activated a time machine which brought the Daleks to 1972. The Doctor and Molly ran from the Daleks and escaped in their TARDIS. (AUDIO: Fugitives)

In an aborted timeline where WOTAN was not defeated by the First Doctor, Louise Bamford, a test subject in a 2006 time travel experiment, arrived in Whitechapel on 18 October. However, the trip was a one way journey and Bamford became stuck in 1972.

In a timeline branching off of the one where WOTAN's attack was successful, the First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright, and Susan Foreman came to 1972 with Griffiths to get back their TARDIS after it was sent back in time by the 2006 time experiments. With the help of a version of Ian from an alternate timeline, they got it out of the River Thames and continued with their travels. (PROSE: The Time Travellers)
