In 1908, (TV: Enemy of the Bane, et al.) called MMDCLXI by the Empire of Empires, (PROSE: Warlords of Utopia) the Tunguska Scroll was recovered in the Tunguska Basin in Russia. (TV: Enemy of the Bane)
On 30 June, the energy created by the impact of a meteor which later became known as the Tunguska Event caused the Great Divide to open in Russia, allowing some of the Charrl to enter that time period from 22,000. (PROSE: Birthright) The Third Doctor attempted to take Liz Shaw and Jo Grant to witness the meteor impact but the TARDIS instead materialised in St Petersburg in December 1916.
