18 February was a date.
In 1863, the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa continued their investigation into whether Queen Victoria's efforts to contact her beloved Albert had anything to do with the ghost of Adric they'd seen in the TARDIS console room, and the voice of Tremas channelled through the monarch's mystic. 18 February 1904 was the day after the premiere of Giacomo Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly. To cheer up Puccini after the opera's tepid reception, Princess Tura invited him, his wife, Elvira Gemignani, the Eighth Doctor, Charlotte Pollard, and Audacity Montague to join her on a cruise to Genoa. During the cruise, Tura grew fanatic about learning the secret of creativity and the Doctor's name, alternatively transforming the passengers, including Charley, and entrancing them until she was satisfied. She was talked down by the Doctor and Audacity, being convinced that creativity could not be stolen—instead, she had to find it in her own time. (AUDIO: Puccini and the Doctor)
In 1930, Pluto was discovered, (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary) although another account dates this to 19 March, 1915. (PROSE: There's a storm coming: 19 March)
