A parasitic Gorgon took over the body of the abbess of St. Agnes Abbey. The alien would remain in the abbess' body for two more centuries, manipulating all the nuns so they would serve her. (TV: Eye of the Gorgon)
A fire swept through London's theatre district. It burnt down the Covent Garden Theatre, destroying all three copies of Double Falsehood. One newspaper reported that an "imp-like figure" was seen in the theatre shortly before the fire. (PROSE: Double Falsehood)
