Events
In 1283, a time traveller became trapped away from their time machine on an invisible flying saucer with a cybernetic velociraptor above Carcassonne, France. While hiding from the velociraptor, the time traveller penned a note at the front of their diary, asking whoever found it to bring them tranquiliser darts and a large butterfly net. In 1863, the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa were in London, where they had a meeting with General George Doulton at King's Cross station. That morning was the first time that Nyssa had been introduced to porridge. As the day wore on, the duo began a long train ride up to Scotland, where they would meet Queen Victoria in the immediate wake of the death of Prince Albert. (PROSE: Empire of Death)
In 1904, Giacomo Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly premiered at La Scala in Milan. The premiere was seen by Puccini, his wife, Elvira Gemignani, the Eighth Doctor, Charlotte Pollard, and Audacity Montague, all of whom would attend a party at Princess Tura's mansion. To cheer up Puccini after the opera's tepid reception, Princess Tura invited him and the others to join her on a cruise to Genoa the next day.
