On 1 July, the United States Congress passed the Tariff Act in Philadelphia. The meeting was interrupted by "Thomas Jefferson's cursed army of zombie French werewolves". The Eleventh Doctor and Alice Obiefune, who were visiting to see Alexander Hamilton, led the werewolves away from the congress and created an anti-nanite spear that cured them of their lycanthropy. (COMIC: The Long Con)

During the French Revolution, a young French aristocrat named Jason was sentenced to death by guillotine, but was rescued by the Sixth Doctor and became his companion. Later, the meddling of a Dalek caused the TARDIS to return to revolutionary France. Jason was arrested once more and his sentence was almost carried out but he managed to escape again. (AUDIO: The Ultimate Adventure)

Rebecca Macardle stopped being a prostitute, and instead took up employment as a government agent. (PROSE: The Adventuress of Henrietta Street)

Behind the scenes[]

One possible "game over" for the video game Don't Blink has the player being sent back in time by a Weeping Angel to the year 1789 to die in the French Revolution.
