Holidays and observances

11 November was the traditional date for Remembrance Day as observed on Earth and on human colonies, in which humankind remembered those lost in their many violent conflicts throughout history and promised to try to not do it again. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary) It began as Armistice Day, a day of remembrance that marked the ceasefire which ended World War I in 1918. (AUDIO: The White Room)

Events

In 1913, John Smith and Nurse Redfern attended the Farringham village dance. The village was attacked by the Family of Blood that same night. (TV: Human Nature, The Family of Blood)

In 1918, World War I ended with a ceasefire, which was celebrated as Armistice Day.
