Someone help me figure out the history of this stupid thing.

So in The Talons of Weng-Chiang, the Time Cabinet arrives in China and is taken to Victorian London by the Litefoot family where it remains in their possession. At the end of the serial, the Doctor smashes the trionic lattice that is used to unlock it.

In the game Edge of Time, the Doctor tasks the player with collecting Sciencefictionium crystals, one of which is the trionic lattice. The player finds this and Weng-Chiang's Time Cabinet in the Victorian-era abode of some Grayle jerk (ancestor of the Weeping Angel collector from The One Where Amy & Rory Get Killed By Weeping Angels).

But.

That doesn't fit anywhere in the timeline.

If it's before the original serial, then the cabinet should either be in China or in the possession of the Litefoot family. If it's after, there should be no trionic lattice.

Am I missing something or did the writers just not watch the episode?

Didn't the 2nd doctor say that he had a medical degree or something? Cause in the recent episode Boom the doctor said that he wasn't a doctor.

Was this fact retconed or something?!

So in the Eleventh Doctor's speech in the episode "The Rings of Akhaten", the Doctor says the line "I walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a mad man". Who is this referring to? I initially thought he was referring to The Toymaker. Is it?

It sounds absurd but it might be possible. I'll explain.

The width of a police box is 4 ft 6 in.

The height of a police box is 9 ft 4 in and the inner diameter of a stargate is 22 feet.

It would be a tough maneuver to do but I don't think it's impossible, I would like some input on this

Some of you might remember my blog, where I write about events from the Doctor Who universe as if they actually happened.

Whilst looking up what happened in 2018, I found this:

• Ace bought a copy of NME outside Ladbroke Grove hypertube station. In it, the Seventh Doctor had placed a personal advert that read, "Ace - Behind You!". (PROSE: Timewyrm: Revelation)

So of course, I checked the source cited. However, when it comes to NME, the Revelation page says this:

• Johnny Chess was reviewed in the NME - 18th July 1998.

There are no other mentions of NME on that page. Nor of the year 2018.

So can someone who read the book help me out here? Did Ace buy a 2018 copy of NME whilst in 2018, or a 1998 copy of NME while in 2018, or some other thing?

In Paradise Towers, when the Doctor exits the Tardis, he encounters a tall metal thing, which he says hello to. Upon reentering the Tardis at the end, he says hello to it again, remarking to Mel "You never know". Anyone got any idea what it is, because I'm really curious as to what it be? (it's the thing on the right in the image below, between the tardis and the thing that looks like a lampshade)

I was doing research for the wiki's page on the Teletubbies, and I came across Nick Kellington, an actor who played Dipsy in the revival series who, according to his Wikipedia article, previously played a Sontaran in an unspecified DW episode from 2008, assumedly, series 4's Sontaran 2-parter.

The catch, however, is that we don't seem to have a page on the guy at all, and doing a search for his name only brings up the pages for… The War Games, Deep Breath, and The Christmas Invasion, nothing to do with his alleged role, in other words.

Do any of you guys know anything about this?

In The Impossible Astronaut, Amy reads a book that contains historical accounts featuring the Doctor.

Can anyone make out what the title of the book is?

I've skimmed the Fandom page and not found anything.

Would anybody happen to know which episode of The Two Doctors Nej Adamson made his uncredited cameo in?

Adamson was among the original cast members of EastEnders, the very first episode of which would have been broadcast the Tuesday between parts 1 and 2 of that serial, so I'm curious, for wiki purposes, to find out if his EE debut pre or post-dated his DW cameo.

The Power of the Doctor's article says that Chris Chibnall thought that his part of the scene where Jodie regenerates would be the last scene of the show because he didn't know that there would be a next showrunner, but I can't find a source for that. Does anyone know what it is?

Mr Russell is currently a grand old 97 years old, and would’ve been around 96 when he filmed Sunday’s episode!

Surely this could very well make him a candidate for oldest ever actor to appear in the show’s history?

So I’m rewatching Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel, and I’m wondering, why did the Cybermen try to delete the Doctor, his companions, the Preachers and Pete at the end of Rise of the Cybermen? What was “incompatible” about them, and what did the Cybermen mean by “Rouge elements”?

Is it true that originally the TARDIS was supposed to change the exterior every episode but they couldn't due to budget or is that just a myth? If it is true could I have a link to an article of some kind. It's off-putting that the First Doctor remarks it hasn't changed in an Unearthly Child
