Capaldi. Hell Bent.
Neither of those are plot holes though?...
I don't remember the First, Second or Third Doctors ever having jelly babies. Not the Seventh or Ninth.
@Chris402 What is?
@Kevin 'Chalky' Kaiba Oh, I was wondering cause the Doctor never worked at Coal Hill, it was Ian and Barbara who worked there, and Susan who went to school there. But I decided not to do that bit in the end because Remembrance of the Daleks did that for the 25th anniversary. So I decided to go with the birthday party instead.
@Kevin 'Chalky' Kaiba Have you seen An Unearthly Child?
Oh, and cliffhanger! Faction Paradox turn up and steal the Master!
(And so the Doctor turns into David Tennant again and goes and looks for some rain to cry in)
I think I'd do something conceptual and metafictional about the beginning of the Doctor, playing around with Coal Hill School perhaps... No, hang on, Remembrance of the Daleks already did that. Ah well, something conceptual and metafictional about the creation of the show. The Doctor has to race to prevent the Master from changing the show to be all about him, before it's revealed that the Master never wanted that in the first place and only wanted to get the Doctor's attention for his surprise birthday party, and so the Doctor and the Master and Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert and all all have a lovely birthday party, with cake, then the Master decides to come with the Doctor on their travels, and so off they head into the horizon, ready for new adventures.
The last post in the series, iirc, was The Feast of Steven, or Daleks Master Plan episode 7. Usually, I did individual serials, but I thought that was was different enough to warrant it's own post. The next one to do would be Daleks' Master Plan episodes 8 to 12.
@Dreamleak Absolutely fine to go ahead and carry on the series, I stopped as it all got a bit much, and as Shambala says, anyone's free to carry on a series of posts.
@FH2104 What about all the sources that say they're the same?
Yes, the Monk is the Master. I will not back down on this.
Ooh, this is tough
@The Masterbator You're thinking of Whoville, I think
The word is a portmanteau of "Who"+"Universe", as opposed to "Whoni"+"Verse", and indeed "multiverse" is, I believe, derived from "multi"+"universe", as opposed to "multi"+"verse". For the etymology of "universe", I'm afraid, you will have to consult a dictionary. Hope that helps!
(I was talking about New Earth)
@FH2104 But it's so much fun! Why don't you like it, may I ask?
Really, why not?
@FH2104 New Earth and Love and Monsters are good, though. But Hartnell's series 2 is much better, with The Rescue, the Romans, the Time Meddler, the Web Planet, the Crusade. Peak Hartnell!
Sorry? What do you mean, no returning Doctors? We've got David Tennant back, haven't we? (And in all honesty, I'd rather that we hadn't, but that's neither here nor there.)
