In 1996 a movie with Paul McGann as The Doctor, Daphne Ashbrook as his Companion Grace, and Eric Roberts
as his foremost enemy The Master, premiered but it wasn't too successful to relaunch the series.
In 2005, after a sixteen year absence Doctor Who came back.
Christopher Eccleston was The Doctor and Billie Pipper as his Companion Rose Tyler.
Five men and one woman have succeeded Eccleston as The Doctor with Ncuti Gatwa as the current (Fifteenth) Doctor.

2. Peter Powell's version first used in the early eighties.
3. Murray Gold's version used for "Before The Flood".
No, because every actor brings something of their own to their portrayal of The Doctor.
Twelve is my second favorite Doctor.
In Series Nine he did find his footing and it wasa fun and wild ride from there.
