Why is it always "It's the Rani!"?
Why is it never "It's the Monk! It's the Corsair!"?
All of this #RipDoctorWho nonsense has been going on since Whittaker was cast. It's nothing new, but it's hilarious that it's the same people who keep saying the show is dead and it keeps not dying, all while they are still watching it.
And of course it doesn't go deeper than "Woman/black lead actor = woke show", as if Series 10 was in any way less political or "woke" than Series 11-13 (in fact, it was more).
I fell in love with it during the Moffat years and RTD is no Moffat. However, his style of writing now is far less "2000's" so for me at least that's an improvement. And he is a good writer in general so I think the show is in good hands at the moment.
My main problem with the bi-generation happening to every incarnation:
Does that mean that when Ncuti regenerates he'll split too? Cause that means we lose a core part of the Doctor Who experience, the loss of the previous Doctor (it worked with Tennant because we've lost him once before).
And if not, does that mean that Ncuti will be the first Doctor to not live on? Cause I don't like that either.
Kind of late to the game, but Clive's death really hit me for a character that was introduced in that same episode.
Turn Left.
Donna and Rory.
More like Thanksgiving is on Doctor Who's 60th Anniversary.
If I had a nickel for every time I had to Google something you've said, Najawin.
Was waiting for this so I could vote for Capaldi.
I know the feeling. Take time to grieve, don't watch the next episode right away.
Eh, I think most episodes have their problems. It is unparalleled, though, when it comes to emotional connection with both the main and guest characters.
And Boom Town isn't that bad, honestly.
Series 1 might not be consistently great, but I think 9 has had the best characterisation out of all the Doctors, and the best arc.
I think that Four has higher highs than Two, and Two has higher highs than Three.
I guess Third is the most consistently good then .
We talking stories or characterisation?
Pretty sure she wasn't in Stardust.
There definitely have been worse designs, but I don't like their story.
Amaya/Charlie? Doesn't seem very Doctor-y to me.
Cybus, my least favourite ones.
