So he was. It’s been a while since I watched it, I just remembered the quote and looked up the clip.
No, the one who killed him at the end of episode one. This guy…

I assumed she was this episode’s equivalent of the servant of Sutekh in ‘Pyramids of Mars’. Particularly when she said “I bring Sutekh’s gift of death” - same as the cliffhanger for episode 1.

In all fairness, if that video of the Doctor came up on my laptop like a pop-up ad, I’d ignore it too.
I’ll always have a soft spot for this one; it was my introduction to the DW universe.

“Courage isn’t just about being brave. It’s about being determined and making a difference despite the fear.”
I agree with @AdamPennington17. While it’s definitely a fair point that religion and faith (including Christianity) have been used to promote war and political gain, the way the concept of faith was described by the Doctor, and ultimately Moffat, was very generalised and in my opinion unfair. I wouldn’t be against this kind of allegory, but the time needs to be spent exploring both sides of the argument, something that comes across that Moffat is lacking in.
The idea that faith in God, gods or whatever your religion is the same as denying all evidence in front of you to preserve your naïve and incorrect beliefs is quite an insensitive one I feel. What sums this up I think is at the end where he tells the girl to keep believing Daddy’s in Heaven because faith (Moffat’s perception) is for children and atheism is for rational grown-ups.
I should say, I liked this episode very much overall, but it did feel quite insensitive in places. But yeah, also agree that this is the best of the series so far.

Definitely his regeneration drug-tripping moment that’s the first one mentioned by @Isaacbrybry
