It's true, there's no rule that 3 seasons is the limit but it's nevertheless a majority choice that the actors make. 3th and 4th did more. 6th and 9th did less. The others did 3 seasons. I think 3 or 4 seasons it's good for a Doctor.

Rose Tyler: 13/15 years later

Rose Tyler left the Doctor since 13/15 years. We have met other companions after her and I'm curious to know what you think of her after all these years. Rose Tyler is the first companion of NewWho and maybe like me your opinion has changed hugely since 2005 concerning her.

I'm not going to say I hate her because I don't, I like her a little bit anyway, but it's just that now I find her bland compared to the other female companions who have traveled with the Doctor after her. And her relationship with the Doctor, whom I liked at the time, became a horror to me. First, because River Song is for me the woman the Doctor really loves and second because her relationship with the 10th seems superficial. I mean, the relationships between the Doctor and his companions always seems to me to be stronger, more sincere and more interesting when it comes to friendship. As a result, the friendships the Doctor had with Donna, Amy, Clara, Bill and Yaz seems to me to be much more important than his “romantic” relationship with Rose.

I don't think it's bad.

With all incarnations it's normal to have preferences. Personally, I never like the first episode with a new Doctor because I find the attitude is always exaggerating (I'm talking about the NuWho). I always have to see the next two or three episodes to have a real opinion.

I remember liking David Tennant and Matt Smith quite quickly but taking longer to appreciate Peter Capaldi. Having a much more serious Doctor was too big a change for me at the time to accept quickly. Today I like the incarnation of Peter Capaldi but I couldn't say that he's my favorite Doctor. I quickly liked Jodie Whittaker because she reminds me of the 10th and 11th and an energetic Doctor is what I like and appreciate most.

The change of showrunner is always something you can feel in the episodes but I've never had a problem with that.

I also think it's the Daleks, but as the answer seems obvious I'm not sure

I think it was because of a conflict between Chris Chibnall and the production, he was unhappy with the frantic pace of filming and Jodie Whittaker very loyal to Chris C. hadn't signed yet for another season in case Chris C. was leaving the series

This conflict to probably delay production and the season was only ordered for 2020
