2 parter, NOT the finale, it would be 2 thirds through. the reason for this is to make it as much a shock as possible. the villain would be the valeyard who takes advantage of 'regeneration doesnt have to be random' and takes the doctors form. while the doctor and companion are occasionally separated during war against zygons, who can shapeshift, the valeyard approaches the companion and says devious things in a subtle manor, the companion scans species and discovers this "doctor" is time lord not zygon. this turns the companion against the doctor even though they both want to save the earth and eventually leads to a tragic death to a companion who believed zygons and the doctor to be allies. the valeyard slithers away to return for the finale

A kahler from near future earth of present time who claims its a "tattoo" on his face so humans dont freak out. an owner of a small digital comic book stand on a street, using a futuristic device to download fictional comics from the past (our present). i'd be a bit of a dork with low self-esteem who reads comics in between customers as i get so few, i fantasize being a hero who battles villains. when i eventually join the TARDIS crew (dr and another companion) id be a semi-cowardly nerd, but that just leaves room for evolution as i eventually become a true hero.
