Torchwood (series)

Disclaimer; throughout the show and the spin-offs (Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, K-9 and Class), has there ever been a character (hero, villain, neutral side character) whose death you hated, and why was that so? (e.g. they were too good characters to let go, with possibly some potential, or their deaths weren't executed well; I've heard what happened to Ianto really angered people since he was part of the LGBTQ+ and I think what happened to Jack's grandson Steven might not have been well received since he was the first child to die onscreen overall in the franchise and Spider from Thin Ice was the first child in the central show to die onscreen.)

Is anyone having trouble searching torchwood-related content. I can view on other pages ( Jack Harkness, the Doctor) through links, but no results for when I search. Any suggestions?

Do you think that Gray ( Jack’s brother ) was well written throughout season 2. I though it was a bit cliché with his backstory alongside his atrocious dialogue, as well as the simple ending of being cryo-frozen with no resolution. This isn’t gospel, just what I took from watching, welcome to any different points of view.

Does anyone know what prop maker(s) might have made the 10th Doctors hand in the jar prop?

In the opening minutes of “Day Two”, we see Ianto Jones picking up a newspaper with the headline “New Message to the World: We are Coming” It is dated to Wednesday, September 2009, and since it can’t be published prior to the event, “Day One” and the beginning of “Day Two” is set on a Tuesday. However, in “Day Five”, when the Prime Minster says this “Today, we're taking steps to safeguard your children. The schools are being opened again, and we urge all of you to send your children back to their classes straight away. Government representatives will be visiting certain schools to discuss a series of inoculations.” which is followed up with “These inoculations are to protect your children. These inoculations are safe. These inoculations will guarantee no repeat of the problems of the past four days.” This says that has been four days since the original event, but means that this is set on a Saturday, which schools are not open on. Any solutions?

What is your unpopular opinion about the DWU?

I am re-watching all of Doctor Who I just finished the classics and started watching 2005 onwards and I’m on the Aliens of London episode and I’ve just realised that Tosh is on this episode and I haven’t noticed before I know that Doctor who normally reuse actors on their shows. Like Gwyneth is the ancestor of Gwen from Torchwood. Yes I know it’s the same universe with characters. With jack in the later episodes I like how they started building Torchwood this early on and it shows how well Russel T Davies wrote the shows.

I saw on a page somewhere on this site dating the battle to July 2007. Can someone link it down below. Or if you have other suggestions as to what month the battle took place in.

I’m trying to put all the shows into a watchable order and all fit nicely together. I’m open to changes on this.
