Hopefully this time the BBC using 3D animation will go a lot better than “The Web of Fear”. Reminds me a lot of Dinopuff’s animation

With the rumors of the Celestial Toymaker returning for the 60th anniversary we don’t exactly know what will happen (since you know it’s rumors and all that) but if it is Neil Patrick Harris is The Toymaker there’s one thing I hope will become a reality
Currently we’ve all likely seen this picture floating around the web of Neil Patrick Harris supposedly being The Celestial Toymaker, which if it is him and not one of the Toymaker’s henchmen, I have to say I’m quite dissatisfied with the costume.
The original Toymaker’s costumer was a beautifully designed costume, even with the show being in black and white at the time, you could still make out the bright vibrant colors reflecting off the costume. Besides it feels a lot more unique and intimidating than your standard villain wearing a suit and top hat like he’s supposedly wearing now due to how much of a trope it is!
Really hoping the Toymaker’s original costume returns as to how unique it looks, compared to a suit and tie.
Peter Purves and Jim Carrey
Peter Purves was in The Celestial Toymaker with Michael Gough who was in Batman Forever with Jim Carrey.
