So Jodie has left and 13’s era is wrapped up in a nice bow… Except for:
The Doctor being a prison escapee
Why didn’t the Judoon just teleport back into the TARDIS and rearrest her? Is it on RTD to explain when the Judoon return
Is the Spymaster after missy?
Why isn’t 13 mentioning how last time they met he tortures Bill for YEARS and converts her. Why is the Diodati line the closest we got?
Is Ryan’s YouTube channel successful?
Also does he get that qualification he was going for in 11x 01, The NVQ.
* side note but does Bella from 12x 03 die? How does Ryan feel about that?
THE FOB WATCH
Arc of the entire ERA and he leaves it open ended?? The audacity
Do the Stenza want revenge for Tim Shaw
Wasn’t he would be leader of a warrior race? A race mentioned in the same breath as the Daleks. No retribution, no retaliation. He goes to Earth disappears forever and that’s the end? Cool 👍
Does the Grand Serpent just die on his rock
He was clearly meant to be Vinder’s Swarm, but really? The Doctor approves of him being left to starve and die instead of paying for his crimes? Stormcage anyone??
Krasko (Racist Stormcage dude)
Ryan sends him way back in time. Is he dead? Does Ryan regret it? Does 13 know? Is he just being racist in the further past?
Always thought he’d be back given the whole time travel aspect of the show. Maybe Ryan uses the Telepathic Circuits and boom we see what he’s up to.
Where are the Osgoods Kate?
Seriously where are they? Inseparable in the Moffat era, obsessed with The Doctor, the interactions write themselves… yet she’s just gone
What the hell is The Fugitive Doctors deal
Come on now Chris. The cool mysterious incarnation “The successful female Doctor”. You’ve no clue where she comes in the timeline, she appears once in person through the era and she’s done??
Who protected the universe while 13 was in space prison?
She’s gone an unlabelled amount of time (I personally always interpreted it as centuries) and there’s no reason invasions and temporal attacks stop. We know what happens when the Doctor is missing… Why aren’t the stars going out?
Did we bother winding back the Flux or is 14 only travelling between like 4 planets?
The Ravagers said they’d wind it back after Time is unleashed and bears witness, but Time kills them instead as the Flux was with genocide. They don’t wind it back on screen and everyone but the Ood come back into the universe??
Your resolution is missing a resolution Chris!
Not a loose end but GOD does 13 love a good genocide: Daleks, Sontarans, Cybermen, Arachnids, Desolation Rag Creatures, the Kerblam men.
Thoughts on Power of the Doctor?
I thought it was kinda crazy, but it was very fun and I liked a lot of it! 😃 I don't really think of it as a cohesive story, rather a crazy fun celebration and finale. 😀 I don't like how some of the characters were treated though (like Ashad, Vinder and Graham did almost nothing and Dan's leaving was kinda anticlimactic) but I loved the Master in it, and I gotta say, the Ra-Ra-Rasputin part was the maddest thing I've ever seen in Doctor Who ever and that's saying a lot 😂😅. And there were some emotional bits like when all the companions were talking to their Doctors 🥲 that was very emotional... and I also loved the part with all the old Doctors, it was pretty cool :)
The Doctor Who centenary special title has been revealed!
Just rambling here...but I felt an unusual urge the other day to rewatch all of Flux. For context I think seasons 11 and 12 are some of the weaker if not weakest of the post-2005 series, but remembered finding Flux, at least relatively, to be rather good. Having rewatched it in its entirety I'm sure I found the same flaws I did the first time around...but have to say I really enjoyed it, and would have to put it up the top with my favourite seasons of the show (again, post-2005. I have seen the classic series, I just don't think there's any point in comparing them given how different they are). I may well be alone in this, but thought that in the tsunami of negativity that often surrounds all things Whittaker, it might be worth sharing.
He claims on Madame Ching's ship that he is 42.
This cannot be possible.
Apparently, Dan is born in 1976 (according to Sontarans).
Now, for him to be "42" his "current present year" must be 2018. Yet we know, from Eve, that his and Yaz's "current present year" is 2022 (because Dan claims 13 saved the universe "last week" and neither he nor Yaz are surprised at the year being 31/12/2021).
So if he's 42, he's born in 1980.
For 1976 to be right, he has to be 46 now (for 2022 to be his present year) and to include the 4 years he and Yaz lived in the past makes him 50, not 42.
What do you think about the fact that the Sea Devils are returning in the next TV story?
I hope the Cenetary Special has “time” in the title. Cause after The Parting of the Ways, every Doctor’s regeneration story (not counting the Eighth or War Doctors) has had “time” in the title (The End of Time, The Time of the Doctor, Twice Upon a Time)
Okay so a few days back I found a Series 11 - 13 Tier List, but didn't complete the tier list as I forgot what happened in some episodes. This then gave me the idea to gauge the communities opinions on Series 11 - 13. The more positive things said about an episode the higher it will go, and the more negative things said about an episode the lower it will go. The Tier List currently has very standard categories which include 'The Greatest', 'Fantastic', 'Good', 'Ok', 'Bad' & 'Not Canon', so if you want to make them less generic just give me ideas as to what to change them to. I'll likely check in on this thread every few days, but will probably sort the Tier List on Saturday and screenshot it and post it within this thread. Additionally if you think 5 categories is too many then you can recommend how many the Tier List should have. Obviously please be polite & civil when discussing the episodes. Below are the episodes and you can provide brief opinions in whatever order you like:
Series 11:
The Woman Who Fell to Earth
The Ghost Monument
Rosa
Arachnids in the UK
The Tsuranga Conundrum
Demons of the Punjab
Kerblam!
The Witchfinders
It Takes You Away
The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos
Series 12:
Spyfall - Part 1
Spyfall - Part 2
Orphan 55
Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror
Fugitive of the Judoon
Praxeus
Can You Hear Me?
The Haunting of Villa Diodati
Ascension of the Cybermen
The Timeless Children
Series 13 / Flux:
The Halloween Apocalypse
War Of The Sontarans
Once, Upon Time
Village of the Angels
Survivors of the Flux
The Vanquishers
Specials:
Resolution
Revolution of the Daleks
If anyone wants to help out by collecting opinions and summarising them all within one comment on a daily basis for the next few days that would be really helpful as I'd be able to quickly & concisely read the balance between the positive & negative opinions which surround episodes and that would therefore make the Tier List part of this experiment of sorts much easier for me to conduct.
Sidenote: Probably should have checked beforehand, but is this sort of experiment allowed @Shambala108 ?
-SEASON
IDEA: A INTIRE SEASON BASED AROUND COMPAIONS

I've noticed no-one made a post to talk about and rate chapter 6, as was done previously for other chapters (and it's already been several days since its release. Come on, guys). And as I just finished watching it, here it is.
In my opinion, the culmination was rather jumbled, the end was rushed. And it yet didn't answer my question about the state in which the universe exists now. Is it just the Earth that survived? The Doctor was so dorkily happy (as she always is) to go on a new adventure with Yaz and Dan, while there might be no universe to have that adventure in. Does she know for sure, that it's okay? For a woman, who spent three of her seasons being confused and frustrated, I doubt it.
Swarm and Azure turned out to be a villainous let down. No reason, no explanation, and on top of that they broke the first rule of a good villain. Don't tell your enemies about your plans. They were talking for hours, giving The Doctor all the time in the world to solve the problem. I guess, they were getting a revenge, but isn't the enemy knowing what they're suffering for essential for a revenge plan? And then they just died. Anticlimactic much? Still an ace make-up though.
I'm not even talking about The Grand Serpent. That was even a bigger let-down. He didn't accomplish anything, despite looking the part to do so. Still, there is a chance for him to return from his exile on that rock. I bet he can persuade some passerby ship to take him on board. That is, if there are still ships to be taken on board to. And I still don't know what the hell he was trying to achieve.
Destroying the whole race of Lupari is a bit... cruel, to say the least. Chibnall brought "the last of the Time Lords" back, and now he created "the last of the Lupari". Does it always have to end in genocide with you to have an impact, Chibbs? There are other ways, you know. Jericho dying wasn't that big of a surprise though. I knew someone had to die. It's still sad. He was a great character.
Not to say that all my thoughts about this episode are negative, because I actually enjoyed it. And I enjoyed the season as a whole. It was definitely a step-up from Chibb's previous work. Still, I hope he will have a mind to tidy after himself in specials for RTD's comeback, because I don't envy the man who have to inherit half the universe to work with. And then there's also this unresolved problem of The Division...
Well, what else can I say? Doctor flirting with herself was fun and eye-roll inducing (in a fond way). Chocolate maniac Sontaran was unexpectedly funny, and equally absurd. I was very glad that Claire is safe and sound, because I just love her. Bel and Vinder were cute. Yaz had a mild character development, to the point where I actually started thinking of her as a decent companion. Dan was being Dan. It didn't make sense for Diane to be so scientifically/technically smart, but who cares? It was convenient this way, I guess.
And of course, last, but not least... Master will be back. I've been waiting for this.
This is a post which features many different rankings relating to Series 13, or "Flux", now that it is over. Some of these are more obvious than others, whilst some are kinda random.
Let's start with the obvious: Episodes Ranked.
Chapter 4: The Village of the Angels
Chapter 2: War of the Sontarans
Chapter 6: The Vanquishers
Chapter 1: The Halloween Apocolypse
Chapter 5: Survivors of the Flux
Chapter 3: Once, Upon Time
The next one will be main characters. To qualify for this list, a character must appear in 2 or more episodes (next time trailers or previously on's won't be counted). I will only be including feats from this series. Eg, anything Yaz does in Series 11 or Series 12 won't be taken into consideration.
Dan Lewis
Professor Jericho
Claire Brown
The Doctor
Yasmin Khan
Karvanista
Swarm
Inston-Vee Vinder
Kate Stewart
The Grand Serpant
Joseph Williamson
Azure
Diane
Bel
Sontaran Commander (Chapters 5 & 6)
Tecteun's Ood
Tecteun
Passenger
The next list will be cliffhangars.
Chapter 4: Village of the Angels
Chapter 1: The Halloween Apocolypse
Chapter 3: Once, Upon Time
Chapter 2: War of the Sontarans
Chapter 5: Survivors of the Flux
Next, will be returning villains.
Weeping Angels
Sontarans
Cybermen
Daleks
The penultimate list will be new villains.
Swarm
The Grand Serpent
Azure
Passenger
The final, and probably most obscure list, is next time trailers. This will be the next time trailer for an episode, rather than at the end of an episode.
Chapter 6: The Vanquishers
Chapter 4: Village of the Angels
Chapter 5: Survivors of the Flux
Chapter 2: War of the Sontarans
Chapter 3: Once, Upon Time
And that concludes my many rankings. I don't expect you to do all of these, but if there are any that you do wish to share, please feel free to do so.
Overall, this was a pretty strong series and definately Chibnall's best. Overall, I'd give it an 8.5/10.
What's your opinion of the Flux? Is it good or bad?
What are your thoughts on the latest episode of Doctor Who, "Village of the Angels"?
