I am an enormous DW fan- I just felt some disappointment upon seeing the specials. I have been waiting years for the 60th anniversary but I felt so disappointed when I saw the Star Beast- the crappy dialogue, wooden acting, weird CGI, and writing- when coupled with the david tennant gimmick (for the second time) just really kind of bugged me. I love DW but honestly Davies NEEDS to step it up. Wild Blue Yonder was a lot better but still suffered from flaws- the CGI was not as good as the previous era, the plot was a literal REHASH OF MIDNIGHT, and it's quite literally a normal doctor who episode, not anywhere even close to the best. Yes, there are definitely pros to this new era (DONNA NOBLE IS BACK!!!) but, if I'm being honest- I enjoyed Flux and Power of the Doctor a lot more. Day of the Doctor was loads better and carried so much more intrigue with it (even if the CGI wasn't top notch). RTD can do better than this, I'm sure of it. I just hope the third special isn't as much of a letdown.

I just watched the" season finale" of season 4 ( season finale is in quotes as on HBO max there is 08 and 09 special episodes that I still need to watch) every time The Doctor has to leave behind his companion why the heck do I want to cry? I didn't even like Donna! Does this happened to every one? Also, did you guys like get used to it?
(Props to the writers. I would love to have the ability to write like that. Make people laugh and cry because of how good there writing is. And good job picking David Tenant he is the best doctor and I will stand by that to the end of the universe.)
Edit: I didn't ever dislike Donna but I just preferred the other companions. The actress did a good job playing her, I just didn't like the character.
