Screw it, I can't think of any significant flaws for this one, and I'll never understand why it has the reputation it does. After what on the whole was a pretty disappointing season (and especially after the utter dirge that is The Mutants), something like this, whose sole purpose seems to be cramming as many ambitious and out there ideas as it can into 2 and a half hours, was sorely needed, and comes as a blessed relief. Sure, it may not all fit together as a cohesive whole as it probably could have, and there are significant portions of it that don't make even the slightest bit of sense, but given the sheer unrestrained imagination on display, I'm willing to forgive it for that. It was the kind of thing that the show could only gotten away with once, and I'm glad they took this opportunity and ran with it. A truly underrated gem.
