None of them need to return. They've all had their day. The Cybermen are all about reflecting developments in technology and aside from a comment on retro-style things making a comeback, I can't see why bringing the old designs back would be a good idea.

@FH2104 isn't there a whole thing about different factions and cultures of cybermen, that at least one of them hasn't entered that development stage, and I swear I thought one of them was actually from future since the Doctor time travelled into that future, either tomb of cybermen or Revenge of the Cybermen. I could be wrong, but if I'm right, it might be possible because of time travel logic.
