Dunno about any of that. As I said on the last Gallifrey post, his Chibs knew what he was doing in getting rid of Gallifrey. Apart from anything else, if—as I believe to be the case—the Timeless Child was his attempt to restore the mystery to the character which had been unseen since the 60s, then Gallifrey being destroyed helps that.

I guess Empire of Death does leave that question open of how much the Doctor actually managed to reverse in the end. But it can't have been everything, obviously, so I'd personally stick with it largely being limited to what we saw in episodes 1 and 2. Who knows what Russell has planned.

I think he just brought back the people that Sutekh killed. They can’t just keep destroying and bringing back Gallifrey every time the showrunner changes. They need to make up their minds.

I’ll be honest. When he was bringing “death to death” and looking at all the planets being brought back to life I was 100% expecting him to look at a screen and see Gallifrey alive again because I would not put it past RTD to do some crazy reason like that to bring it back😂

But at least it would make somewhat more sense than the master single handedly destroying all timelords on gallifrey… but that’s a rant for another time…
