Or as I would call it... Practically Jurassic Park, but Doctor Who-flavoured...

What is this episode? Why is there a sexist American guy on there? What's the point of Queen Nefertiti? Why do we have 2 robots that have temper tantrums? Why is Brian here in the first place? He serves no purpose!
That's an easy one, Brian's here because Mark Williams is brilliant (I guess he's best known as a Weasley, but is also known for comedy from The Fast Show) and he's patently one of the best things about this weird little mini-season. As for Nefertiti, I agree she serves little purpose, but unless I'm mistaken she's also the first non-white real historical figure in the show since Kublai Khan in 1964. I mean, not only is that shocking, but surely it's a good thing.
I like this story. As much as I like both Mitchell and Webb in isolation, as a double act I've never found them funny, and this is no exception. David Bradley is fantastic. The effects are fantastic. The placeholder companions are funny. The fact it mentions the Silurians is fantastic. I guess overall it's just... not fantastic. But it's good fun.
Ok yea maybe I overreacted lol so sorry for that guess I just never really understood the episode tbh
Perfect example of Chibnall throwing everything at a wall and seeing what sticks
Still fun tho
@Taronerd Actually, this episode was written by Chris Chibnall.
@TheCritic&RobloxMaster21 fixed apologies
This is not an episode. It's a title. Stuffed into an A.I. generator with the prompt "make a Doctor Who episode out of this". With Nefertiti and some random hunter tagging along for no reason, and the Doctor uncharacteristically murdering a guy in cold blood thrown in for good measure.
Mark Williams was too good for this one.
I couldn't say it any better than @SonicTsils and @WaltK
Too mental. Also having so many one-off friends present, who don't appear to do much.
I honestly have no notes. Yes the companions are pointless but the adventure was in no way important to the overall plot in the Matt Smith years. The only good episode chinbal did.
What do you think?
