Boom Town is set in Cardiff. And... I'm pretty sure that's it. Other than Delta and the Bannermen, and I would query how many of the actors in that were actually Welsh!

I personally think at least one of RTD's seasons should have been set in Cardiff. At least Chibnall managed to escape London. (I'll admit I don't know Sheffield very well at all, but the Flux season set in Liverpool has a great sense of place.)

He's had a plethora of Welsh stars in there. Most of RTD's era has been shot in Wales.

There was that motorcycle girl in Delta, even though she didn’t end up becoming a companion.

The Green Death is also set in Wales.

@Icecreamdif, do Jo Grant/Jones' family count? The SJA episode where #11 is meant to have died. That, and said episode was set in Wales, under a mountain or something?

Yeah, I just didn’t feel like typing out “and the Bannermen.” It’s a season 24 episode with the Seventh Doctor and Mel.

@FH2104 "boom town" and "The Unguiet Dead" were set in Cardiff but in different time period. Also season 2 and 3 two part finals featured Cardiff with Jack and Torchwood appearance. I'm from USA and will admit don't know a lot of Welsh actors, but think there would be more casting calls in Cardiff and more settings there.
