Fathers Day
Second best Doctor
Decent
Rather good
I had a scratched dvd and it kind of ruined my perspective of the episode and for years I had to skip most of it so it never made much sense, and whilst I have watched since it was put on Iplayer I still remember the awful DVD.
McCoy: my personal favorite! I love his change in character from season 24 to season 26 and beyond in EU. I love how dark his doctor is but he’s still likable, basically what Colin COULD have been if he was written stronger. Fantastic fantastic fantastic!
Rory: he’s fine… killing him constantly got a bit old and lost it’s shock value and basically became a running gag but other than that I do like how clear it is by the middle of series six how much he’s changed as a character just in his moment with the cybermen
Series 13 (Flux): it’s fine… I thought it started strong and stayed pretty strong for the first four episodes. But the last two completely fell apart and left so many loose ends that I have not actually rewatched it since broadcast…
Fathers day: a bit overrated but still a good story to establish the rules of time travel and paradoxes with the reavers… until they never mention them again…
Pretty good.
I felt he was just the butt of jokes, and also met his maker every other story or so; that wasn't good.
Didn't watch, but I've not heard anything good on it.
Bad episode.
Haven't seen the Seventh Doctor yet.
I absolutely adore Rory and wish he'd been treated better by the writers (and the Doctor).
The Flux is my least-favorite storyline of all the Who I've seen so far. It's just absolutely awful.
Father's Day is a good episode and I like what it builds for Nine and Rose as characters, but I also think it's a bit overhyped.
What do you think?
