Mine: He's an ok Doctor.

He's the best of the modern Doctors, and the one I reacted worse to when it came to the regeneration. I love Jodie, but I thought I'd be so distressed at Capaldi leaving I didn't even watch Twice Upon a Time when it first came out. In hindsight his farewell speech was so long-winded I was ready for it by the halfway point.

But no, he's just the best. He didn't always get material that appealed to my preferences, but when he did (more or less everything from The Husbands of River Song onwards) it was something special. In The Pilot he was the most convincing Doctor any of the modern ones had been up until that point, and probably since. "You're safe in here. You're safe in here and you always will be." That's what I want to hear from the Doctor, not gabbled jargon and unfunny and unrealistic banter.

Capaldi is myfavorite NuWho Doctor; unfortunately I haven't seen his entire run because I couldn't take the writing any more.

But I love his accent; he's also one of those actors who can do the "silly" part of the Doctor but when he's serious, you buy it.

In all seriousness though he had the best arc of any doctor we’ve had before. Plus man could he deliver a speech!

Goat goat goat. Best to ever do it. S8-S9 represent the pinnacle of the show in terms of acting, set design, cinematography and writing. Literally superior to every other era in every aspect. (As of me writing this.)
