I loved the fact that smith portrays this incarnation as thr soul of an old man trapped in a young body. As a viewer it's easy for me to tell.

I loved his relationships with amy, rory, River and even clara at some point.

And his bow ties and fezzeswere memorable

I will always remember when the doctor was him

I didn't mind him in series 7. Still a bit off, but much more Doctor-like, which was helped by the darker coat (and more varied stories).

He regenerated into the Capaldi Doctor.

He’s fun. Possibly the most fun of the modern doctors. 9 has the soul, 10 has the heart, 11 has the fun, 12 has the depth, 13 is the goodest, probably the best person of the lot, burdened with the sins of the fathers, 14 is the end of that mid life chrisis, 15 is the horniest. What were we talking about again?

I like how he is the incarnation that feels the oldest, even though he was the youngest actor to take in the role. Especially in series 7 is when I actually liked him best.

Matt Smith is My Doctor for several reasons but I think my favorite thing about him is his awkwardness/quirkiness. I love that he insisted on wearing the bowtie and wearing a fez. I love that he is very good looking but plays it off in the show and lastly I love his overwhelming kindness but that is a feature amongst most all the many Doctors!
