@Kevin 'Chalky' Kaiba I do agree with you that the EVERY SINGLE Doctor bi-generates thing is terrible, cause it'll ruin the fact that it was created because of Hartnell's failing health, & the sad moments of regeneration.

@BenGMan730, if it is true that it's affecting all past bodies, then yes, it does feel like a ruinous moment.

However, other than RTD's saying stuff in the behind the scenes videos, and nothing else being said, this bovine mightn't be true.

My main problem with the bi-generation happening to every incarnation:

Does that mean that when Ncuti regenerates he'll split too? Cause that means we lose a core part of the Doctor Who experience, the loss of the previous Doctor (it worked with Tennant because we've lost him once before).

And if not, does that mean that Ncuti will be the first Doctor to not live on? Cause I don't like that either.

@Bruce Wayne of Earth-1 That's a really interesting point. If every on-screen regeneration from now on is a split instead of a straight changeover, that would really change the dynamic. It's the visual equivalent of having your cake and eating it. But I can't see that happening.

@FH2104, it's to avoid directly referencing a term which can be profane.

RTD threw it out as a premise. Relax. It’s an “all stories are true” thing. On screen 15 says it doesn’t happen and is a myth. There is no reason to believe every doctor who ever existed still does and is just hiding. And if RTD decides to make this stupid concept cannon then the show will die. Which is not awesome but I mean rumours of dr who’s death have been exaggerated before.
