The first appearance of the Enemy, Yartek Leader of the Alien Voord.

I do like the quest and how each episode is basically its own story.

This is one of the first episodes I'd recommend to fans of the modern series, because the structure gives it an unusually fast pace for this era. I don't think it's great as a whole, but each episode individually has something going for it. I particularly like the fourth one, The Snows of Terror, probably because it reminds me of that peak period where Troughton had about 20 episodes in a row set in the snow.

It’s nice they gave Terry Nation this non-Dalek script (since, unbeknownst to them, the demand for the Daleks was about to significantly increase). We don’t see that again until S13 I think. Nice to see some of his old clichés in a different setting.

This is another one that apparently many if not most fans don't like, but I've always liked it, I liked the different settings, and the trial was well done.

I do like how well this one is paced. I remember never being bored by it. I also like the alieness of it all. Both with the Voord (and even the Morphos) and the setting. A beach made of glass and a sea made of acid is a delightfully foreign concept, and yet still familiar enough to make it a believable thing to exist somewhere.

I wish they could find/animate this serial as it’s one I like listening to and think it would be one of my favorites if it was in existence
