Also, I was just saying that I was posting the poll to see the scores and percentages. I wasn’t even trying to disagree, I was simply just explaining.
And saying that the eleventh doctor wasn’t exactly ‘dark’.
Anyway, I’m not hear to argue. If you want the last word, take it. I don’t really care. There’s always someone that has a problem with everyone’s posts.
I never had an issue with a single one of your posts. I just had an opinion and for some reason, you decided to turn it into a thing. I'm not interested in having an argument, I just wanted to express my opinion. This was not something prohibited. But clearly this isn't the place to have an opinion, you've made that very clear.
I would say it's been nice, but let's face it, it hasn't. Hostility between users isn't something that should happen based on opinions, but obviously you're willing to let that get in the way.
I'm not going to respond to this anymore so goodbye.
Yep, okay bye then! 👋🏻
Okaaaaaaay then, I'm just going to casually state my opinion about which one is best and pretend the strange above conversation never happened.
It's really close between all 3 series (yes, even the somewhat hated 7 with the Impossible Girl arc). Every season did something very different, and they were all enjoyable, especially with the extremely talented Matt Smith portraying the very complex Eleventh Doctor (nope, not gonna start another argument over this).
I'd have to go with Series 6, only because it managed to balance being the most, and perhaps only, serialized season in modern Who with somehow also having so many great standalone episodes. The 4 part "serialized" story comprised of The Impossible Astronaut / Day of the Moon, A Good Man Goes to War, Let's Kill Hitler, and The Wedding of River Song. It also has 4 great standalone stories, The Doctor's Wife, The Rebel Flesh / The Almost People, The Girl Who Waited, and The God Complex.
Glad to see love for Rebel Flesh.
@PT73 I agree with you on Series 6, one of my favourites, although series 5 is more my favourite. Everything in the Eleventh Doctor era lead up to the end, in “The Eleventh Hour” Prisoner Zero teaser silence falling, that headless blue guy (forgot his name) teased Trenzalore in the series 6 final, “The Wedding of River Song”, and so on.
I liked Matt Smiths portrayal of the Doctor. Younger looking reincarnation with all the knowledge. I think Series 6 just takes it for me.
I loved series 5, cos it was rather adorable (idk why I use that word, but I really want to in this context). But I think the story arc of Season was actually very Doctor Who-y. Season 7A was excellent, and the finale of S7A (The Angels Take Manhattan) is one of my favourite episodes so far. However, I must admit that S7B was quite a let down, except for a couple of good episodes. But still, god knows why, I always rewatch S7 the most.
I kinda like all of them equally, but I think I’ll have to go with S6 because that is a rather interesting season, other than the flesh and hitler episodes which were both, disturbing and boring.
What do you think?
