Wasn’t a massive fan, seemed to undo a lot from the last show runner (Gallifrey saved, Master redeemed, etc) which I don’t agree with.

On its own, it was a pretty good episode, but I agree that it is disappointing that they are undoing so much from the Moffat era. The Doctor went though so much trouble to save Gallifrey, and now it has just been destroyed again off screen. Hopefully it will be restored by the end of the season.

@Icecreamdif I completely agree. The 12th doctor did so much and Gallifrey was back and the master was redeemed but now that is all gone

It was really good and quite mind boggling! The stuff with the master and Gallifrey was amazing too! I can’t wait for ep 3!

But Missy died, and as far as we know John Simm's master becomes Missy.

Davros died in Journey’s End, but returned unscathed in The Magician’s Apprentice. We can’t assume anything!
