I give myself ten out of ten.
I don't particularly care for the episodes you listed, but I do agree that Blink isn't a good introduction to new viewers. It barely features the main characters. Don't get me wrong, it's probably my favorite NuWho episode, but it's not a good starting place for newbies.
This is just a list of attributes. Do you actually have something you want to discuss?
@CaptainKaibyo please refrain from assigning motivations to other users.
@AussieScifiHistoryFanatic please note that @Anastasia Cousins is correct. These boards are for general DW chitchat. Any editing issues belong on talk pages (article or admin) or the forums.
There is no need to report this post. It has been locked and I am leaving it here as a notice for the OP and others that fan fiction is not allowed here.
Hi please note that the FANDOM posts category is only for posts from Fandom staff thanks.
This post is not a spoiler post.
@Jean Goldino the users who have responded to your post have covered quite a bit of information to answer you, but as an admin I am adding some more detail.
First of all, these discussion boards are for general DW chitchat. If you have issues with editing on the wiki, address them on article talk pages, admin talk pages, or the forums.
Second, we are all, including the admins, volunteers. We work on what we want to, and we are making a collaborative effort here. Criticizing our work is not just rude, but it's useless. No one is required to do certain tasks, and can work wherever/whenever they want to, as long as they follow our rules.
Third, as you are a new user, you are probably unfamiliar with many of our rules. You complained that some of your edits were removed. Probably they broke some of our rules. If you have any questions about how to find our policies, please ask on an admin talk page.
Lastly and most importantly, namecalling and other comments that we consider personal attacks are not allowed on this wiki. While we understand a user's frustration, that is no excuse to call other people and their efforts "useless", "prank", "poorly explained" and "hypocrisy". Consider this your only free warning that this kind of behavior is not accepted here.
Thanks for your attention. I am locking this post because it really doesn't belong here.
^This pretty much covers it.
This is the last post that I will change to the Spoilers category. From now on, posts that violate our spoiler policy will be deleted. For anyone unfamiliar with the policy, please make yourself familiar with what this wiki considers to be a spoiler.
As usual I can't wait for this "holiday" to be over.
@Talon1105 it's fine to ask someone for the reasoning behind their opinion, but please refrain from accusing someone of wanting to cause a fight.
For everyone who is new here, please make sure to read our spoiler policy thanks.
@Dreamleak 's assessment pretty much covers it for me too.
It's not locked, four people edited it just an hour ago. It was unlocked months ago. You probably ran into an edit conflict.
But @BenGMan730 is correct; in the future take editing issues to talk pages, not here thanks.
For me it's his seeming need to make every other story some major surprising twist: River is Amy's daughter, the Statue of Liberty is a weeping angel, the moon is an egg, the master is a woman, etc etc. It seemed to me that the desire to surprise viewers kept him from writing actual good stories.
Personally I don't see the need to rank the things I like but a lot of people do that; you can scroll down the list of posts and you might find some that do the rankings.
Moffat era started the decline. He was fine at writing stories under RTD's tenure, but Moffat's story arcs and remaking of the Doctor were pretty awful, and his insistence on making every other story have some major surprise twist showed lack of story-writing ability. Add to that Matt Smith's unsuitableness to play a version of the Doctor, and that was the start of the end, to the point where I didn't even finish Capaldi's run, and I thought he was awesome.
